Techniques & Specialisations

Shirin is trained in a range of therapeutic massage techniques, including:

Deep Tissue Massage

Aimed at relieving chronic muscle tension, this technique focuses on deeper layers of muscle and connective tissue to release tightness, improve joint mobility, and reduce pain caused by posture, injury, or stress.

Trigger Point Therapy

This method targets specific tight areas within the muscle tissue, known as trigger points, which can refer pain to other parts of the body. It is especially effective for persistent tension and localized discomfort.

Neuromuscular Techniques

A precise form of massage therapy that helps restore normal muscle function by releasing muscle spasms, reducing pressure on nerves, and improving circulation to problem areas.

Muscle Energy Techniques

A gentle and active technique that involves the patient contracting specific muscles against resistance, followed by a stretch. It helps improve flexibility, reduce stiffness, and restore normal range of motion.

Relaxation and Wellbeing Massage

Designed to promote full-body relaxation and mental calmness, this massage eases stress, regulates the nervous system, and enhances sleep quality while relieving general aches and tension.

Myofascial Release Therapy

A gentle, sustained pressure technique that targets the fascia (connective tissue surrounding muscles). It helps to release restrictions, reduce pain, and improve overall physical function, particularly for those with chronic issues or past injuries.
