No, you do not need a referral to book an appointment. However, some insurance providers may require one for reimbursement.

Injection Therapy

What types of injections do you offer?
We offer:

  • Corticosteroid injections (for pain and inflammation)
  • Hyaluronic acid injections (for joint lubrication and arthritis)
  • Arthrosamid injections (for long-term knee pain relief)

Most injections cause only mild discomfort, as they are performed using ultrasound guidance for precision and minimal pain.

This depends on your condition. Some patients experience relief after one injection, while others may require a course of treatments.

Common side effects are temporary, including mild swelling, redness, or soreness at the injection site. More serious side effects are rare and will be discussed before treatment.

Dry Needling

Dry needling is a therapeutic technique where thin needles are inserted into trigger points in muscles to relieve pain and improve movement.

No, dry needling is different from acupuncture. While both use needles, dry needling focuses on muscle release based on modern pain science, whereas acupuncture is based on traditional Chinese medicine.

You may feel a mild twitch or muscle spasm, but most patients experience only minimal discomfort.

This varies based on the condition being treated. Some patients feel improvement after one session, while others may need multiple treatments for long-term relief.
